Tree Inspector

We are currently looking to recruit a Tree Inspector within our company. The position would suit an individual who is local to Kent and who has experience in working in the public sector particularly within the local authority.

Applicants must hold the relevant arboriculture qualification (Professional Tree Inspector) and have at least 2-5 years’ experience within the arboriculture industry.

As an inspector you will undertake proactive and reactive inspections of privately owned trees and must be able to produce comprehensive site reports, detailing, tree identification, condition of trees and specifying remedial works.

The applicant must be an extremely organised and resourceful person, have a sound working knowledge of tree pests, diseases and disorders, have a good understanding of BS3998:2010 and tree work specifications. Verbal and written communication skills are essential to the role as well as time management, prioritising and service delivery.

Some experience of using Pear Technology Survey database software would be an advantage.

The role requires someone who is physically fit to meet the demands of the role.

Experienced Arborist

TAG TREES LIMITED are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Arborist to fill a new role within our company. Applicants must be able to work well within a team and have strong leadership and communication skills. This is a permanent position, salary circa £30k depending on experience. 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.

The role responsibilities will include:

  • Daily work planning/allocation of works
  • Providing teams with essential information on the work in hand
  • Making sure works are carried out safely, efficiently and on time
  • Regular communication throughout the day with teams

  • Daily communication with the Manager with work updates

  • Completing site inspections and work estimates

  • Site audits

  • Assisting with apprenticeship training

  • Effectively communicating with client/site representatives

Applicants should hold all relevant NPTC qualifications, as well as previous experience in a supervisory role. They should be highly motivated and be able to work to a high standard in health and safety and quality of work. A full driving license is essential.
